Artist's Comments
So a couple weeks ago I went to Portcon Maine, for my first Artist Alley, expecting to share a table with some creepy neckbeard that may or may not smell bad and be really socially awkward.
I ended up meeting some of the coolest dudes I've ever met at an animu convention. Arty (left) designed some rad-ass shirts and buttons (which should be found at the website that may or may not actually be up now?) and sold them with Jacob (right) who seemed cool at first, but actually runs some site for perverts.* Steve (middle) is some kind of cheerleader or something. But he was wicked cool too. Anyway, they gave me a Kiki t-shirt (designed by Arty) to draw this for them. I hope they like it! They'll be at Otakon, so if you see guys that obviously look exactly like this, say hi for me. *Fakku! is a wildly popular site that translates lots of awesome doujins. I found out about Fakku through 4chan (hurr) and was very amused about the tons of people approaching the table like "HOLY SHIT FAKKU IS HERE???!!?!1one" Seriously though, check it out (if you're over 18, that is.) And Jacob is a cool dude. |
